Men bashing trend

Postby jam24u on Mon Oct 13, 2008 7:43 am

This morning, Oct. 13th 2008 at 7:00 am I had my television turned to CBS's 'The Early Show'. The first thing these tv network morning shows do is to go over the main topics that will appear in their broadcast. This morning one of the topics was (quote) "Why do men behave badly and what can women do to prevent it" (unquote). This is a typical trend appearing everywhere in the world, but most especially here in the U.S.A. It is almost impossible to find a commercial where a male character is not portrayed as a dufus loser that usually has to be rescued by a female character. In keeping a 2 week record of the morning programs incidents of anti-male (mis-andry) is staggering. Such an example exchanged between a reporter and guest recommended cutting off certain appendages of the male anatomy because a groom left a bride at the alter and then both laughed about it. Lets reverse these roles for a moment. Say cutting off a womans breast because she left a groom at the alter. Then laugh about it on national tv. Would such a statement pass unnoticed or do you think it would appear on every outraged talk show, news program for days on end. There is a terrible trend developing in this country and it's an unfair double standard. The womens movement in the country was to empower womens rights, not reduce men to a level of inequality. Additional proof of this is when one hears women say "well men have it coming to them". That is part of the problem and is sexism. I ask everyone to take notice of this terrible campaign.
Want a real shock. Click your television to the cartoon channels and see how they're portraying men there. There is a new anti-male development in this country and it's targeting our family itself and those that you love the most, your husbands, fathers and sons and it is out of control. I say this it is up to the women in the country to stop this outrage before it is too late. We men will watch to see if women really have the power and will to fix this.
